Catalog description

Introduces characteristics of various aluminum alloys, the procedures and precautions used when working with them, the selection of appropriate hardware, and the principles of making repairs to aluminum structures. Differential tuition rates apply. Restricted to Aviation Maintenance Technician, Airframe, or Powerplant majors only. Prerequisites: AMT 1101, AMT 1102, AMT 1103, AMT 1104, AMT 1105, AMT 1106, AVT 1001, MAT 1100, and PHY 1030 with grades of "C" or better. Course is not repeatable for credit.
