Catalog description
Introduces aircraft materials, heat treatment, metalworking, hardware, safety wire techniques, soldering methods, material compatibility, and identification markings. This course includes welding processes and weld inspection, focusing on acceptable and unacceptable welds. Differential tuition rates apply. Restricted to Aviation Maintenance Technician, Airframe, or Powerplant majors only. Course is not repeatable for credit.
