Catalog description
Focuses on instrument Flight Rules' (IFR) operations in the Air Traffic System, as well as the requisite competencies to be successful navigating the air traffic control industry. This course includes specific air traffic general procedures, aircraft recognition, aviation law, aviation safety and emergencies, problem-solving skills, and En Route Automation Modernization (ERAM) / En Route Decision Support Tool (EDST). Restricted to Air Traffic Control majors only. Course is not repeatable for credit.
