Catalog description
U.S. WOMEN OF COLOR & ECONOMIC INEQUALITY. This course will highlight how income inequality, poverty, and the disparity of wealth in the United States impact women of color and how they are gendered, classed, and racialized. Throughout the course, we will examine global economic processes, such as globalization and neoliberalism, and their impact on employment, labor, income, health, social life, families, and immigration. Cross-listed with AS/SOC-305.
