Course Objectives - Identify major components of the nervous system including cellular and brain structures. - Explain the mechanisms by which the brain and nervous system functions to integrate information and guide behavior. - Apply basic principles of neuroscience to better understand a range of cognitive processes including sensation, perception, memory, and emotion. - Relate the foundational principles of brain structures and systems to research across domains of psychology. Prerequisites: Psychology 101
