Externship

Catalog description

*The MED119 course may be substituted for this course. The externship is designed to prepare future Medical Assistant with “real world” experience in the field. Eligible students will be assigned a position within one of the settings in order to perform the duties of a Medical Assistant. The position is unpaid and used for class credit only. Successful completion of this Module is required to satisfy requirements for the completion of the program. Students may use the externship as practical experience on their resume.
