Catalog description
This course covers the first half of Hebrew from Scratch 1 (עברית מן ההתחלה א'from Lesson 1 through Lesson 14. It takes the students from learning the mechanics of reading and writing unvoweled Hebrew to active mastery of 500 words, knowledge of the present tense and reading comprehension of dialogues relating to everyday life as well as descriptive, narrative and informative texts on Jewish and Israeli cultural topics. No Credit.
